CRADLE OF FILTH: European Tour With TYPE O NEGATIVE 'Postponed'
August 19, 2004CRADLE OF FILTH's previously announced European tour with TYPE O NEGATIVE, which was set for December, had to be posponed due to TYPE O not being able to make the trip at that time, according to a posting on CRADLE's web site. CRADLE OF FILTH are now looking at touring Europe around February 2005 with another major support act.
As previously reported, CRADLE OF FILTH will support MUDVAYNE on the next "Headbanger's Ball" tour, tentatively planned for this fall. The trek is expected to be confirmed within the next two weeks, with dates and cities to follow shortly afterward. Possible openers include Italian rockers LACUNA COIL, currently on Ozzfest, as well as BLOODSIMPLE, the first signing to MUDVAYNE vocalist Chad Gray's label, called Bullygoat Records. BLOODSIMPLE is the new project featuring VISION OF DISORDER members Tim Williams (vocals) and Mike Kennedy (guitar),along with ex-MEDICATION bassist Kyle Sanders and drummer Chris Hamilton, plus guitarist Nick Rowe (guitar).
CRADLE OF FILTH, who recently completed work on the "Nymphetamine" video (photos from the video shoot),are getting the plans together for the "Nymphetamine Special Edition" CD. This will have five to six extra tracks and exclusive new artwork and is set for release early next year. The regular version of "Nymphetamine" is scheduled for release on September 28 through Roadrunner Records.
